First off, you need a DDR sim. I'll recommend Stepmania, because it's better than DWI. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably has an ancient computer.

Once you have either of those, you might want a pad and an adaptor.

So all you need now is some songs... there's quite a few here. Don't just toss the files in the Songs folder though. Instead, create folders based on file origin, then in those folders, give each song its own folder. So instead of dumping the files in \Songs, you dump them in \Songs\(origin)\(name of song).

For example, if you download One More Lovely from the Anarchy originals page, then put its files in "\Songs\Dance Anarchy\One More Lovely\".

Files in era-4 are much simpler to work with. Just place the .zip in "\Songs\Dance Anarchy\" and unpack it there, and you're ready to go.

Hopefully that made sense...

Anyhow, once you've installed the adapter and sim and got the song files, you're ready to play. SM configures itself automatically. It's smart like that.
